The companies in the group specialize in digital learning such as eLearning and VR/AR simulators and 360°, as well as classroom teaching and practical training.

ASK Group is a preferred partner both nationally and internationally. We have our head office in Ålesund, where we coordinate all activity and development in the group. ASK Safety Norway

ASK Safety Norway was established in 1995 and is located in Aalesund, a city on the West Coast of Norway. The company has two training facilities in Norway; in Aalesund and on Froya.

The first training services the company offered was safety training for fishermen on Norwegian fishing vessels. After some time, ASK Safety started to offer courses for the oil and gas industry, and the first course we had in the course portfolio was basic safety and emergency preparedness. The next step was to build a portfolio of maritime courses. The STCW convention was vital in this process and ASK Safety became one of the largest course providers of maritime courses in Norway. The last contribution to the market is courses for the fish farming industry. This industry is rapidly growing and will be one of our focus areas for the time coming.

ASK eLearning

ASK eLearning is the groups focus on digital learning, which develops and offers e-learning courses, VR/AR simulators, 360° and LMS platforms. With years of experience and unique competence we strive to make digital learning as motivational and educational as possible. The company’s slogan “Competence Without Boundaries” refers to the possibilities to share competence, experience and “state-of-the-art” technology using online global teaching. Today, learning exceeds country boarders and ASK eLearning takes this opportunity to educate and train people in various industries worldwide.

ASK Safety USA

ASK Safety USA is the group’s latest expansion and is located in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Here we provide courses and training mainly for the cruise industry. The training facilities have been specially designed for STCW training and are only a 5 minutes’ drive south of Port Canaveral. The facilities have state-of-the-art equipment, classrooms, training pool and two brand new MES training stations. Our newly designed VR simulator for Lifeboat (CPSC) training has been installed at the facilities. We additionally provide a wide range of online courses, and blended courses with online and practical training.

Our course portfolio has been built up in accordance with the STCW convention and approved by the USCG and NMD.

With decades of experience in organizing onboard training, we have a team of highly qualified instructors prepared to embark on ships globally. We specialize in conducting training onboard with a focus on not compromising the work and rest hours for the crew.
